Our president and founder, Michelle Chandler, has big plans for www.BeingSingleIs.com. 

"As our membership base grows, we will be able to invest more in our members and their communities.  I would like to set up scholorships to help single women enhance their skills so they can find better career opportunities.  I would also like to invest in organizations that provide economic housing for single women... especially single moms and I would like to give to charities that focus efforts on single women. 

I have a lot of ideas for our members too.  We are working with companies to provide discounts.  I would like to have events so our members can meet one another, discounted member trips so we can get away and have some fun, hand out prizes and gifts to members. 

I really don't like the idea of charging a membership fee, but since our members have stated that they would rather pay a membership fee than be bombarded with ads, we do our best to keep it reasonable and offer as many membership discounts as we can.  We also created lifetime membership rates which will prevent current members from being impacted when we must raise our rates.  If a member joins for $9 per month, then they can be assured that their rate will always be $9 as long as they remain a member in good standing."

Why do we charge a membership fee? 

The small membership fee that we charge will help us pay for contests, give aways and events, help us keep the site running, enhance it, pay our writers and staff, donate to charities, and much more.  We are trying to keep our membership fees down as low as possible.  So, tell your friends.  The more members we have, the more we can do for you!
